Since 2002, The Peninsula School of Theology has provided satellite classes from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary for laity, church leaders, missionaries, preachers, and pastors on the Peninsula.  The school offers advance Christian education and theological training to Christians who are serious about serving the Lord and loving Him with their minds.  Our students learn from gifted and qualified teachers using a curriculum that:

• Provides biblical, theological, vocational, educational, and Christian leadership training.
• Equips and empower leaders and members to function effectively in the Body of Christ and the world.
• Equips and empower the clergy and laity for the work of the church in the world.

The school offers three diplomas:

1. Diploma in Christian Ministries (DCM)
2. Diploma in Theology (DTH), and
3. Diploma in Church Planting in Christian Ministries and Theology (DCP)

The Theology Diploma Program can lead to a degree program at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary upon approval of the Vice President of Academic Affairs.

The Peninsula School of Theology is a ministry of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Redwood City, functioning under the guidelines and supervision of the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and North America Mission Board.  Classes are held at 134 Hemlock Street on Thursdays and Saturdays.  For more information, visit our website at www.mtzionbcrwc.org.  Classes are open to all denominations.
