Brief Overview of Ministry

The Deaconess and Mothers Board members are servants; first of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.   Our ministry is Pastoral in nature.  That is to say we act as we are directed by our Pastor, for he is chosen by God to oversee this local Body.  We act in a nurturing capacity, working along side of other ministries for the perfecting of the Body, with much prayer we, The Deaconess and Mothers Board, attempt to influence growth and maturity in The Body of Christ.

Much of our ministry is of a private and personal nature.  We have with the guidance of the Holy Spirit attempted to intervene or involve ourselves in individual lives with the aim of growing relationships, first with our Lord and Savior, and then with each one so that each of us can grow spiritually.

We are in the planning phase and hope to be fully involved in outreach ministry involving the Maple Street Shelter this summer.. Stay tuned.

Last year as many of you know, our Ministers of Discipleship/Evangelism, Kearney & Loraine Combs, sponsored a Thanksgiving Day outreach.  We will, Lord willing assist in that event.
